One of the most important lessons I have learnt from treating cats and other animals with homeopathy, is that they know what is best for them. They know which medicine is the right one and how often they need it. The only problem for humans is to learn the cat's body language.

This concept may seem very far fetched to you at the moment. I'm not asking you to believe it. What I am asking you to do is to keep it in your mind, to be open to the possibility. Your cat will do the rest, Your cat will provide you with the proof, over and over again.

Let me give you an example. When a cat needs treatment, say after receiving an injury, you have a choice of treatments. Taking the cat to the vet for an antibiotic injection may cause the cat untold misery on the journey, as cats don't generally travel well.

For cats who have had much treatment forced on them, they may automatically resist, initially. By placing one dose in a separate dish of water, you are allowing her the space and time to take it when she's ready to.
